PM Modi wraps up Bhutan visit, meets former king
Prime Minister Narendra Modi just wrapped up a two-day trip to Bhutan, where he met with former King Jigme Singye Wangchuck.

Modi joined celebrations for Wangchuck's 70th birthday, praising him for bringing democracy and peace to Bhutan—and for introducing the world to "gross national happiness."
The visit also included meetings with Bhutan's current King and launching a major hydropower project.
All in all, it was about deepening a long-standing friendship while looking ahead to new opportunities together.
