Pregnant Ministry of Defence officer Naziya Khanam dies by suicide

Naziya Khanam, a 30-year-old assistant section officer at the Ministry of Defence and three months pregnant, died by suicide at her Delhi home on August 21.
Her family says ongoing harassment from her husband and in-laws pushed her to this point.
Naziya's father demands autopsy, FIR registered
Naziya's father claims she told them about verbal and physical abuse from her in-laws, and he has demanded a detailed autopsy with video evidence, suspecting foul play.
Police have registered an FIR based on his complaint, and the deceased's father and brother later recorded their statements before the Executive Magistrate, Bijwasan.
The investigation is ongoing.
