Puducherry braces for heavy rain; orange alert issued

Heads up, Puducherry! The IMD has put out an orange alert as heavy rain is expected between November 28 and December 1, thanks to a low-pressure area moving in from the Bay of Bengal.
District Collector A. Kulothungan is urging everyone to stay safe and be prepared.

Locals are being asked to avoid going out unless necessary, keep away from electric poles and old buildings, and make sure they have enough food, water, medicines, and important documents handy.
