Punjab: Four from Goldy Dhillon gang nabbed after highway shootout
Punjab's Anti-Gangster Task Force and SAS Nagar Police arrested four members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, linked to foreign-based handler Goldy Dhillon, after a gunfight on the Dera Bassi-Ambala highway.
The accused—Harvinder Singh (Bhola/Honey), Lakhwinder Singh, Mohammad Samir, and Rohit Sharma—are all from Rajpura in Patiala.
What went down and what's next
Police say the group was plotting targeted attacks in Tricity and Patiala on Dhillon's orders.
Officers seized seven pistols and 70 live cartridges; two constables' bulletproof vests were struck by bullets during the encounter.
Harvinder and Mohammad were injured when police fired back. All four have criminal records.
Later, a seventh member, Rajat Kumar, was caught for helping with weapons and logistics—bringing total seizures to nine pistols and 80 cartridges so far.
The main kingpin is still on the run as investigations continue.
