    Railways announces a massive recruitment drive for 26,502 vacancies
  • In one its biggest recruitment drives, the Railways has announced 26,502 vacancies for assistant loco pilots and technician posts.

    The salary would be of Level 02 as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with an initial pay of Rs. 19,900 plus allowances.

    During the training period, only stipend will be provided.

    The deadline to apply is March 5.

  • Candidates in the age group 18-28 are eligible to apply, with a relaxation of five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC (Non Creamy) candidates.

    They must be an Indian, Nepali or Bhutanese citizen, a Tibetan refugee, or an Indian citizen migrated from other countries.

  • Candidates will be chosen on the basis of two computer-based tests and an aptitude test. They should ensure they have an active SIM and email ID, since the RRB will communicate through these channels only. Shortlisted SC/ST candidates will be given free sleeper class tickets for the selection process.
