Ramadan 2026: Here are 'sehri' and 'iftar' timings for March 11
Ramadan is here, and Muslims across India are fasting from dawn to sunset: no food or water until iftar.
The month started on February 19, and every day's sehri (pre-dawn meal) and iftar (evening meal) times shift a little as sunrise and sunset change.
Here's what you need to know for March 11.
Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Mumbai
If you're in Delhi, wrap up sehri by 5:17am iftar kicks off at 6:26pm.
Lucknow folks finish sehri at 5:04am with iftar at 6:13pm.
In Hyderabad, it's sehri till 5:15am and iftar at 6:26pm.

Why timing is important
Getting the timing right isn't just tradition—it's essential for fasting properly.
Because India uses a single official time zone (Indian Standard Time), even a few minutes make a difference for millions observing Ramadan together on day 21 of the holy month.
