On Tuesday night, someone tried to derail the Yercaud Express by placing a 10-foot iron rod on the tracks near Salem, Tamil Nadu.
The train hit the rod and dragged it for about 300 meters, damaging its brakes, but thankfully no one was hurt.
The incident happened while the train was heading from Erode to Chennai.

Railway officials and police quickly cleared the tracks and sent a replacement engine, letting the train continue its journey after a two-hour delay.
