Bihar just switched up its top officials: 50 senior IAS and IPS officers have been transferred in a major shake-up, marking Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary's first big move.
These changes take effect immediately and affect important roles across the state.

Some standout shifts: Bhanu Pratap Singh and Parichay Kumar are now superintendents of police for Khagaria and Katihar.
Kundan Kumar takes over as Patna's district magistrate, while Tyagarajan S.M. heads to chair the Bihar School Examination Board and will continue to hold additional charge as Special Secretary in the Health Department.
Other fresh postings include Kota Kiran Kumar as superintendent of police for Jehanabad, Shailendra Singh as superintendent of police for Sheohar, plus new district magistrates for Khagaria, Muzaffarpur, and Banka.
