Two LeT, one Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist arrested in J&K
Security forces have arrested two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and one Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist over the past three days in J&K's Kulgam district. They also recovered arms and ammunition possessed by the terrorists. The arrests represent a major crackdown on a terrorist module. On October 14, security personnel killed two top LeT commanders, including a recruiter, at Pulwarma. Last week, a Jaish-e-Mohammed commander was killed in Baramulla.
The arrested LeT terrorists have been identified as Khursheed Ahmad Dar and Haziq Rather. Security personnel recovered a pistol, some ammunition and a live grenade from their possession. The two were arrested at a checkpoint manned by police, the Army, and CRPF. The other arrested terrorist was Rameez Yatoo. Security personnel also recovered arms and ammunition from his home.
