Selfie quest ends in tragedy at Rajasthan dam

Nihal Gurjar, 25, from Dausa district, lost his life on Wednesday after slipping into the water while trying to take a selfie at Sarsa Mata Dam in Rajasthan's Alwar.
He couldn't swim, and his friends panicked and ran away instead of helping.

Body found after 12 hours of search

Police, along with NDRF and local volunteers, searched for nearly 12 hours before finding Nihal's body in bushes near the dam early Thursday.
Authorities confirmed it was an accidental drowning—no foul play involved—and have closed the case.
His family has received his body after post-mortem.
