Six Chandigarh Police officers injured in late-night crash

Six Chandigarh Police officers were hurt when their vehicle was hit by a speeding car in Ludhiana around 1:30am on Thursday.
The impact pushed the police van onto a footpath ramp.
Those injured—including two assistant sub-inspectors, a head constable, and two constables—were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Driver fled the scene; investigation ongoing
According to Inspector Ram Diya, the car's driver argued with officers before escaping after the crash.
Police are now using his car's registration number to track him down, with Assistant Sub-Inspector Anil Kumar leading the search.
Legal action has already begun against the suspect as officials work to resolve the case.
