    Another Facebook video of a frustrated CRPF jawan Pankaj Mishra surfaced where he spoke against Rajnath Singh after having lost a relative in the Sukma Maoist attack. Mishra was critical of Rajnath Singh and said that he wasn't a good minister and CRPF was suffering under his leadership. He said Rajnath Singh was misleading PM by not telling him the soldier's grievances.

    Army and CRPF men voice angst through viral videos

    In January, BSF's Tej Bahadur Yadav's viral video which depicted the quality of food served in the army had surfaced. In another video, CRPF constable Jeet Singh had questioned why para-military force was not given the same facilities as the army when they performed similar tasks. Another video by Lance Naik Yagya Pratap Singh alleged harassment for writing to Modi.

    The BSF constable who complained about the "poor quality" of food was dismissed on charges of "making false allegations" and held guilty on 4 counts of violation of the system.

    Stop complaining on social media: Army chief tells soldiers

    After a number of videos surfaced on social media, Army Chief Gen. Bipin Rawat told soldiers to stop posting such videos. Furthermore, he added that such videos affect the morale of soldiers posted along India's tense borders. He ordered the placement of chief of army staff suggestions-cum-grievances box where soldiers can directly write to him to voice their concerns.

    A soldier who attacked army's buddy system found dead

    Roy Mathew in a video had critiqued the buddy system that is prevalent amongst junior army ranks. He told the reporters how jawans were made to do menial jobs like walking officer's dogs and picking their children from school, commonly known as the 'buddy system'. Mathew was on 'buddy duties' for a colonel. He was found dead in Nashik, his body having decomposed.

    25 CRPF men die in the Sukma attack

    25 CRPF personnel were killed in Chhattisgarh's Sukma in one of the worst encounters with Naxals. About 90 CRPF jawans were ambushed by the Naxalites while attending a road inauguration party.
