Special Investigation Team probes possible mishandling of Ram temple donations
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is digging into possible mishandling of donations at the Ram temple.
On Thursday, they questioned Trust member Anil Mishra and temple administrator Gopal Rao right inside the temple complex, focusing on how cash was counted, recorded, and stored.
Mishra had gone to Kerala on June 15.
Probe questions Ram Shankar Yadav
Trust general secretary Champat Rai was also present as investigators looked at why cash-counting staff left without proper security checks, a big concern for keeping things transparent.
Ram Shankar Yadav, a long standing associate of Champat Rai who recently denied any wrongdoing in a video statement, was also asked about his role in counting donations.
The SIT seems determined to get to the bottom of what really happened with the temple funds.
