St Columba's School staff suspended after student suicide
After a Class 10 student at St Columba's School allegedly died by suicide, four staff members—including the headmistress—have been temporarily suspended.
The Delhi Education Department has set up a committee to look into what happened and how the school handled it.
The student's note reportedly accused teachers of mental harassment and included an apology to his family.

The suspended staff include the headmistress for Classes IV-X, the coordinator for Classes IX and X, and two teachers.
Police are talking to classmates, teachers, and school officials as part of their investigation. An FIR for abetment of suicide has been filed.
Meanwhile, the student's father is calling for stronger action against those named in the case, saying, "We need to send a message that no teacher should treat our children like that."
