Tamil Nadu man kills partner after she demands marriage

In Erode district, near Gobichettipalayam town, Tamil Nadu, 27-year-old Mohan Kumar was arrested for allegedly murdering his partner Sonia (35) after she asked him to marry her.
Sonia, a beautician and mother of two, went missing on November 2 after work. Her body was found buried in a banana plantation owned by Kumar.

Kumar lured Sonia to his farm, attacked her

Police say Kumar lured Sonia to his farm, attacked her with a stone, stabbed her in the neck, and buried her in a three-foot pit.
He then tried to hide evidence by dumping her phone and clothes nearby.
Investigators connected him to the crime through call records, and a post-mortem examination was conducted.
Kumar has been remanded as police continue their probe into the case.
