Thane to see 24-hour water cut on Thursday

Starting Thursday at 9am several areas in Thane (including Uthalsar, Panchpakhadi, and parts of Naupada) will have no water supply for a full day.
The Thane Municipal Corporation is shifting a big pipeline near Siddheshwar tank to make way for new work, so it is asking everyone to store enough water and use it wisely until Friday morning.
Areas affected and recurring issue
If you live near Siddheshwar Lake, Ganeshwadi, Kolbad, or Charai (among others), you'll feel the pinch.
This isn't the first time either. Thane has seen multiple cuts lately due to repairs and upgrades.
It's a reminder that the city's water system needs some serious attention.
