Three in Delhi caught faking CBI raid at businessman's house
India
Three people in Delhi tried to pull off a fake Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raid at a businessman's house, showing up in uniforms with bogus ID cards.
The group, Pooja, Asifa, and Kuldeep, were caught on August 23 after their plan flopped when the businessman's wife got suspicious and refused to let them in.
Police suspect Kuldeep deliberately targeted house
The suspects claimed their notice was in their car, but neighbors started gathering and things got awkward.
After a nearly 90-minute standoff outside the house, they left empty-handed.
Turns out, Kuldeep had previously worked at the same businessman's premises and police suspect he deliberately targeted the house and helped plan the fake raid.
Police are still looking for more people involved.
