Two western disturbances bring rain and cooler weather to Delhi
India
Delhi is in for a rainy and cooler weekend, starting Friday. Thanks to two western disturbances, the IMD says showers will stick around through Sunday.
Temperatures have already dipped: Safdarjung hit a low of 16.8 Celsius on Wednesday, which is noticeably chillier than usual for early April.
Yellow alert, AQI improves in Delhi
A yellow alert is out for Saturday with light rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds up to 40km/h expected across Delhi.
Good news: the air quality has also improved a lot (Wednesday's AQI dropped to 113 from Tuesday's 171), so breathing easy just got a little easier this weekend.
