                        Early Sunday, a helicopter flying from Kedarnath to Guptkashi crashed into a forest near Gaurikund, Uttarakhand. Bad weather played a big role in the accident. Sadly, all seven people on board didn't survive.
Pilot was an Indian Army veteran
Captain Rajveer Singh Chauhan, who was flying the chopper, was an Indian Army veteran from Jaipur. With over 15 years of service and lots of experience in tough terrains, he was well respected in his field.

Rescue teams are working at the remote crash site despite tough conditions. Uttarakhand's Chief Minister has confirmed that relief efforts are ongoing and an investigation is underway to find out exactly what happened.
