VHP demands FIR against ex-TMC MLA over Babri-inspired mosque

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) wants police action against suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir after he laid the foundation for a new mosque in Murshidabad on December 6—the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition.
VHP President Alok Kumar wrote to West Bengal's Chief Minister, accusing Kabir of fueling religious tension and asking for an FIR under laws related to promoting enmity.
