For many, the promise of much higher pay outweighs worries about unrest.
Dilip Yadav from Bihar put it simply: he earns 10,000 rupees here; the pay there can go up to 45,000 rupees and overtime is extra.
Young people like Jagadish from Jharkhand are also reapplying to help their families out.
