Woman police officer arrested for bribery in Maharashtra

In Maharashtra's Dharashiv district, a 34-year-old woman police naik was caught accepting a ₹95,000 bribe on behalf of her senior inspector.
The bribe was allegedly asked for after someone approached the inspector seeking help in his son's legal case.
The inspector redirected him to his female colleague, who first demanded ₹1 lakh before agreeing to settle for less.
