Wasim Akram, a Haryana-based YouTuber, has been arrested after being accused of supplying SIM cards to Pakistani intelligence agents.
His name came up during the questioning of another suspected spy, Taufiq.
Investigating agencies have recovered documents and WhatsApp chats from Akram's phone.
Akram's family claims he's innocent
According to investigating agencies, Akram first connected with a Pakistani agent in 2021 while trying to get a visa.
He allegedly provided SIM cards over the past three years and kept in touch with agents via internet calls.
Both Akram and Taufiq are now in police custody for further investigation.
Meanwhile, Akram's family insists he's innocent.
