Zubeen Garg case: Assam SIT to file chargesheet soon

The Assam Police's Special Investigation Team is wrapping up the chargesheet in the high-profile death case of beloved singer Zubeen Garg.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared that it'll be filed between December 6 and 12—just ahead of a key deadline—so suspects can't easily get bail.
The chargesheet is massive, with about 3,500 documents.

Key arrests and calls for honor

Event organizer Shyamkanu Mahanta and Garg's manager Siddharth Sharma have been arrested as part of the investigation.
Meanwhile, Assam Congress President Gaurav Gogoi has urged Parliament to award Garg a posthumous Bharat Ratna, recognizing his huge influence on music and culture in Assam.
