Zubeen Garg death probe: Viscera report received by SIT
The investigation into Assamese cultural icon Zubeen Garg's sudden death is moving forward, with the SIT now receiving his viscera report from Delhi's forensic lab.
Garg died in Singapore on September 18, 2025, and this key report has just been sent to Gauhati Medical College for the final autopsy review.
Case has drawn massive public interest
Post-mortems were done in both Singapore and Assam before Garg's cremation on September 23.
So far, seven people—including his manager—have been arrested as part of the probe.
The SIT is also seeking evidence from Singapore, like CCTV footage and witness statements.
Eleven Assamese people who were with Garg in Singapore have been asked to testify, but only one has spoken up yet.
The case has drawn huge attention, with many still shocked by the loss of such a beloved artist.
