Day 1: Exploring Addis Ababa

Wander through the Ethnological Museum inside Haile Selassie's old palace to learn about Ethiopia's rich cultural tapestry. Finish your day at Merkato, one of Africa's biggest open-air markets. Day 2: The mystical city of Lalibela

A quick flight from Addis Ababa transports you to the sacred heart of Ethiopia: Lalibela, home to 11 monolithic, rock-hewn churches dating back to the 12th century.
