Birthday parties have to be special.
We know that you want the best decoration, the most lip-smacking food, and an unforgettable ambience for the much-awaited day.
But we also understand that it could get hard on your pocket, at times.
So to help you out, here are five simple and cheap home decoration ideas to host the classiest birthday party ever.
-
#1
Choose a theme and stick to it
-
The first step is to choose the right theme.
If the party belongs to a younger one, a kids' theme featuring lots of colors and cute decorations should be followed.
You can also go with the birthday person's favorite movie/sports team/television show, and plan a cake and other decorations as per the selected theme.
Come on, everyone loves a theme!

#2
Take the party out of the house
-
Now, if you don't like partying behind closed doors, shift your arrangements outside for a more natural vibe all around.
In case you have plenty of space in your porch or you own a backyard, you're good to go.
Just try and make the most of the space available. Set up a table, decorate the place nicely, and cook some delicious food.

#3
Buy balloons (a lot of them)
-
Good old balloons can never go wrong.
Everyone loves a nice decoration of balloons, more so, when it's a birthday party.
Get a pack or two, blow them on your own to save money (for food or whatever you'd like).
You can either choose a bunch of vibrant shades, or stick to one or two colors for a simpler look.
-
#4
Splash the place with colors
-
However, if you plan to spend some nice and cozy time inside the house, you might as well make it a vibrant affair. How to do it? Think colors!
Mix up as many colors as you can, and use them creatively around your house.
Also, include a variety of items- add up all things you can possibly think of- balloons, pictures, lights, et al.

#5
Use soft lighting for an intimate vibe
-
If you are hosting your birthday party at night, or your friends like a more intimate vibe, go for soft lighting.
Use a whole lot of candles (of different shapes, colors, and sizes), and spread them all over the place.
Also, use fun lights and use them creatively so they throw light to all corners of the house.
Have fun!
