At a height of 979 meters, Angel Falls in Venezuela is the highest uninterrupted waterfall in the world. In fact, it is as much as 15 times higher than the Niagara. Named after American aviator Jimmie Angel, the world's tallest waterfall drops over the edge of the Auyán-tepui mountain in the Canaima National Park, a famed UNESCO World Heritage site.
