Om Prakash Rajbhar is an Indian politician and agriculturist who serves as the President of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), as of 2021. He also leads the Ekta Manch alliance and serves as a member of the 17th Legislative Assembly from Uttar Pradesh’s Zahoorabad constituency. Rajbhar was born in Rampur village in Uttar Pradesh and completed his education at Baldev Degree College in Varanasi. He is also an agriculturist by profession. Rajbhar started his political journey in the 1980s and remained a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) till 2001. Later, he left the party following a disagreement with party chief Mayawati over the renaming of Bhadohi as Sant Kabir Nagar. Rajbhar has represented Zahoorabad since the year 2017 and serves as a member of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP). He was appointed as a Cabinet Minister in March 2017 in the Yogi Adityanath government as the minister of the Department of Disabled People development and the Department of Backward Classes Welfare. In May 2019, Rajbhar was dismissed from the Cabinet of Yogi Adityanath as he was allegedly conducting anti-alliance activities.
