The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has denied threatening Bhojpuri singer and former BJP member Pawan Singh, who claimed he received threats for sharing a stage with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. An audio clip, allegedly of gangster Hari Boxer, claims Singh filed a police complaint without any threats being issued, India Today reported. In the clip, Boxer accuses Singh of making "baseless" allegations and suggests he may have raised the issue to get security cover.

Boxer also said in the audio that anyone associated with Khan would not be threatened but attacked directly. "If someone works with Salman Khan, we will not threaten them, but shoot them with AK-47 bullets," he said. Singh claimed to have received the threat after announcing his performance with Khan at the Bigg Boss 19 finale on Instagram.

Singh has filed two complaints with the Mumbai police and demanded protection for himself. His aides and some team members have also received threatening messages traced to Bihar and Mumbai. The Bishnoi gang's rivalry with Khan dates back to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Despite Lawrence Bishnoi being imprisoned in Gujarat's Sabarmati jail, his network continues to operate nationwide.
