What's the story

Telugu Desam Party's MP Naramalli Sivaprasad came to the Parliament dressed as German dictator Adolf Hitler to support his demand of special category for Andhra Pradesh. This, however, is not the first time Sivaprasad has chosen a unique attire to make his voice heard. In the past, he had dressed as Lord Krishna, a beggar, and even a dacoit. Much love for fancy-dress, eh?

The demand

MP from Chittoor, Shivaprasad wants special status for AP

Shivaprasad is an actor turned politician, who was elected to the Lok Sabha in 2009 from Chittoor. He has been vocal about his demand for the special status of Andhra Pradesh and has dressed like many personalities in the past. Notably, the TDP has accused BJP of lying, and even initiated a no-confidence motion against the NDA, a few weeks ago. The NDA won!

Fancy dress

From schoolboy, dacoit to Lord Krishna, Sivaprasad has tried all

Earlier this month, Sivaprasad dressed as Lord Krishna in a bid to remind Prime Minister Narendra Modi of his promise. On another occasion, he dressed as a dacoit, probably to imply that the special status might be snatched. Once he dressed as Satya Sai Baba, and another time as folk dancer. To discipline 'bad boy' Modi, Sivaprasad came as a schoolboy during the budget session.
