Woman dies after Ajit Pawar's convoy vehicle hits her bike

A woman, who was injured in an accident involving a vehicle from Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's convoy, died on Tuesday morning, PTI reported. The incident took place on November 22 on Telgaon-Dharur Road in Dharur tehsil of Beed district. The victim, Kusum Sude (30), was traveling with her husband Vishnu (35) and their two daughters aged six and nine, when their motorcycle was hit by a fire brigade vehicle from Pawar's convoy.

Family's condition worsens after accident
Immediately after the accident, the family was rushed to Dharur Rural Hospital. They were later shifted to Sahyadri Hospital in Latur for advanced treatment. Despite efforts, Kusum's condition continued to deteriorate and she succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment. Her husband Vishnu and their daughters are still under medical care at the hospital.
Legal action
Police register case against driver
The police have registered a case of rash driving against the driver of the fire brigade vehicle involved in the accident. They have also seized the vehicles involved in the crash. At the time of the incident, Pawar was traveling from Partur in Jalna district to Ausa in Latur district to attend an event.
