AI is creating divides at work, says ex-Meta manager

Xiaoyin Qu, who was a product manager at Meta, just sounded the alarm about how AI is dividing people at work.
She pointed out that even people with similar skills and backgrounds are suddenly ending up in totally separate groups, just months apart, because of AI's rapid rise.
Divide between colleagues
Qu explained that the real worry isn't some sci-fi future, but seeing friends and colleagues get sorted into "two completely different groups" in a matter of months.
She shared, "The moment we feel someone performs below what AI can do, we don't think 'they need training.' We think they're worth zero. Not less. Zero."
It's a pretty stark shift in how people are valued at work right now.
