AI music is taking over, but listeners are uncomfortable: Survey

A fresh Deezer survey found that nearly everyone—97%—can't tell AI-generated songs apart from tracks made by humans.
The study covered 9,000 people across eight countries and highlights just how realistic AI music has become.

AI-made songs on Deezer jumped from one in 10 to over one in three of streams this year, with nearly 40,000 per day using tools like Suno and Udio.
Most listeners (80%) say they want clear labeling for AI music, with many concerned about quality and creativity as these tracks keep flooding in.
