What's the story

Apple has a long list of products lined up for 2026, despite the recent launch of seven new devices. The company recently unveiled the iPhone 17e and MacBook Neo. However, there's more to come in the near future. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is expected to release an M5 Max and M5 Ultra Mac Studio in the first half of this year.

Product updates

Other Macs and iPads expected to be launched

Along with the new Mac Studio, Apple is also expected to launch a refreshed Mac mini and iMac, possibly with M6 chips. The redesigned MacBook Pro with M6 Pro and M6 Max is also expected to launch around October this year. On the iPad front, while no refresh of the iPad Pro is expected in 2026, a revamped iPad mini with OLED and A19 Pro is in the works for fall release.

Product expansion

Apple TV, HomePod mini, and smart home display

Apple is also working on three major home products: a refreshed Apple TV, a new HomePod mini, and a smart home display. The updated Apple TV 4K should come with an A17 Pro chip and Apple's new in-house N1 networking chip. The HomePod mini will get a newer chipset and possibly some new colors as well. The smart home display will run on an A18 chip with a 7-inch screen, serving as the ultimate smart home hub for HomeKit users.

Anticipated releases

iPhone 18 series and foldable iPhone expected in September

In September, Apple is expected to unveil new flagship iPhones, Apple Watches, and possibly AirPods. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to come with new color options (possibly red), improved cameras, and slightly bigger batteries. The company will also launch its first foldable iPhone. However, the base iPhone 18 and the iPhone Air 2 may not be launched until spring 2027 as part of a strategy to stagger release cycles.

New Apple Watch and AirPods Pro on the horizon

Apple is also expected to launch the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 in September. While not much is known yet, we can expect new health sensors, possible Touch ID support, and improved battery life. The company may also unveil a pair of AirPods Pro 3 with cameras that would leverage Apple's visual intelligence technology for real-time conversations about surroundings through Siri.
