Artemis II blasted off on April 1, 2026, sending its crew toward the Moon, giving them some pretty unusual sleeping arrangements.
Commander Reid Wiseman shared that Christina Koch actually sleeps suspended from the docking tunnel like a bat, while Victor Glover has carved out a small nook and Jeremy Hansen uses seat one to rest.
Artemis II crew sees continents, auroras
As they head for the Moon, the crew got to see Earth in a whole new way.
Wiseman said spotting entire continents and even the northern lights from space was awe-inspiring.
After orbiting Earth and later blasting off at 35420km/h toward their destination, they're set to see the Moon's far side in sunlight before heading home.
