Artemis II launches with 4 astronauts, NASA returns to Moon
Technology
NASA's Orion spacecraft has launched, sending astronauts around the Moon for the first time in more than 50 years.
Aboard Artemis II are Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen.
There was a quick hiccup with the toilet (thanks to Koch for fixing it), but otherwise everything's running smoothly.
Orion built for deep space missions
Orion is built for deep space (think trips to the Moon and beyond) with enough technology to keep four astronauts safe for three weeks.
This mission isn't just about going around the Moon; it's a big step toward future human missions to Mars.
