Google Pixel 4 XL might feature punch-hole design, dual rear-cameras

    What's the story

Google's Pixel range of smartphones offer the finest Android experience. However, unlike other flagship devices, they lack the best of designs.

But now, Google might be changing things around for good.

According to a leaked schematic, the Pixel 4 XL will sport dual front-and-rear cameras and a punch-hole display similar to the Galaxy S10+.

    Here's everything to know.

    Design & display

Google Pixel 4 XL: At a glance

As per the leak, the Pixel 4 XL will feature an edge-to-edge display with a pill-shaped cut-out for the dual front cameras - similar to the S10+.

On the back, it will have a dual camera setup and a dual-tone glass back.

Moreover, the lack of a fingerprint scanner in the drawing suggests that the flagship phone may come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

    Information

Pixel 4 XL will also offer dual front-facing speakers

As per the schematics, the Pixel 4 XL will have fairly slim bezels to accommodate dual front-firing speakers. This will be one of the key highlights, considering the current crop of Pixel phones offer stereo speakers but at the cost of thick bezels.

    Big move

Pixel 4 XL to feature dual rear cameras

While other flagship smartphones offer two or more cameras on the back, Google has had only a single rear camera on every Pixel model sold till date.

But if this leak is anything to go by, Google Pixel 4 XL will get dual rear cameras to take on the triple rear cameras on the Galaxy S10, Mate 20 Pro, and the upcoming iPhone 11.

    From the grapevine

Everything else we know about Google Pixel 4 XL

According to a tip-off by reputed designer Ben Geskin, the Google Pixel 4 XL will come with a 6.5-inch display.

The phone is also said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM.

Under the hood, it is rumored to pack a 4,030mAh battery and run Android Q out of the box.
