HONOR Play5T Life, with Helio P35 chipset, launched in China
Chinese tech giant HONOR has launched a new smartphone named Play5T Life, in its home country. It will go on sale there on April 27. As for the key highlights, the device comes with an HD+ display, quad rear cameras, a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast-charging. Here are more details.
The smartphone flaunts a TFT LCD display
The HONOR Play5T Life features a waterdrop notch design with a prominent bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which also functions as the power button. On the rear, it packs a quad-camera module. The handset bears a 6.6-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) TFT LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is offered in two color options: Black and Blue.
It sports an 8MP selfie camera
The HONOR Play5T Life houses a quad rear camera setup comprising a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper.
It boots Magic UI 4.0 based on Android 10
The HONOR Play5T Life is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it runs on Android 10-based Magic UI 4.0 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device offers support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
HONOR Play5T Life: Pricing and availability
The HONOR Play5T Life is priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 15,000) for its solo 6GB/128GB model. The handset is currently up for pre-booking via HONOR's online store and will go on its first flash sale on April 27.
