HP unveils high-priced hardware for Google Beam

Technology

HP just dropped Dimension, a high-end device that lets you join 3D video meetings—no headset needed. Built for businesses and powered by Google Beam tech, it uses a massive 65-inch light field display and six high-speed cameras to make virtual chats feel way more real. It's coming later this year and will set companies back $24,999 (plus a separate Google Beam license).

It even has spatial audio and pro-level mics

Dimension packs adaptive lighting for lifelike skin tones and shadows, plus spatial audio with four speakers and pro-level mics. The setup is designed to feel like you're actually in the same room—even big names like Salesforce and Deloitte are already interested.

This is not for your average home office setup

Google Beam's camera magic means you get true 3D visuals without strapping on any gear, which could seriously change how remote work feels. But at this price point, it's really aimed at big companies or anyone obsessed with next-level meeting tech—not your average home office setup.
