Hyderabad launches CDSW to tackle digital addiction and threats
Technology
Hyderabad just rolled out the Council for Digital Safety and Wellbeing (CDSW), a new national effort to help everyone use tech more responsibly.
Started by Aditya Vuchi and Anil Rachamalla, CDSW seeks to establish structured standards to tackle digital addiction, online threats, and the growing risks that come with India's massive internet user base.
Digital stress rising among Indian users
With over 750 million people online in India (spending nearly 7 hours a day on average), issues like cyberbullying, social media stress, and digital burnout are on the rise.
The CDSW wants to change that by encouraging healthier digital habits at home, school, and work so everyone can enjoy a safer online experience.
