India's 1st electric rocket to launch soon

Technology

Space Kidz India is about to launch Vayuputhra, the country's first electric rocket.
Designed for low-altitude research, it runs on electric power instead of polluting fuels—making space experiments cleaner and more accessible for students.

Lightweight and precise

Vayuputhra uses 3D-printed carbon fiber and biodegradable plastic, so it's lightweight and precise.
Powered by brushless DC motors, it can fly up to 6km high.
Each launch costs just ₹25 in battery power, thanks to its rechargeable and modular design—no combustion or bulky launchpads needed.

Eco-friendly aerospace tech

By swapping out solid fuels for electric motors, Vayuputhra keeps emissions super low.
Its reusable parts mean less waste and cheaper launches, making it perfect for student projects and green science missions.
It's a big step forward for eco-friendly aerospace tech in India.
