Domestic handset maker Lava has launched the Z91 smartphone in India for Rs. 9,999. The major aspects of the phone are its face recognition capability which reportedly unlocks the smartphone within 0.7 seconds, the wide-screen display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, and its glass finish. Expanding Lava's Z series, the phone is available in blue color.

Lava Z91 features 5.7-inch display, 13MP camera with Bokeh effect

The Lava Z91 features a 5.7-inch HD+ display, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. It has a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera which supports Bokeh effect that can blur a single element of an image. The phone is powered by a Mediatek MTK 6739 processor and backed by a 3,000mAh battery which can last for 24 hours on single charge.

The Lava Z91 will start selling in 1 lakh offline retail stores in the country by mid-April. The smartphone comes with a two-year warranty and a one-time screen replacement offer, which is valid for a year from the date of purchase. Airtel users can also avail a cashback offer of Rs. 2,000 on buying the phone.
