Mi Note 10 v/s OnePlus 7T: Which one is better?
  • With fast and snappy performance, a fluid 90Hz AMOLED screen, and versatile cameras, the OnePlus 7T continues to be one of the best Android smartphones of the year.

However, Xiaomi's camera-centric Mi Note 10 is shaping out to be a rival to the OnePlus flagship with a premium design, mid-level performance, and an industry-leading 108MP penta camera setup.

    So, which one is better?

    Mi Note 10 v/s OnePlus 7T: Design
  • Both Mi Note 10 and OnePlus 7T sport modern designs featuring a sturdy metal frame and a premium all-glass body. On the front, these handsets feature a familiar waterdrop or U-shaped display cut-out.

However, the Xiaomi phone has a curved-edge screen and glossy rear design while the OnePlus flagship gets a flat screen and matte-finish on the rear side.

    Winner: You be the judge.

  • Display

    All about the screen

  • The Mi Note 10 sports a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and HDR10 support.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 7T competes with a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen which supports HDR10+ standard and 90Hz refresh rate. This high refresh rate makes scrolling, swiping, and general animations feel very smooth.

Winner: OnePlus 7T for its better screen.

    For the shutterbugs

    For the shutterbugs
  • The Mi Note 10 offers a penta-lens rear camera including a 108MP main sensor, a 20MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 12MP portrait lens, an 8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and another 2MP macro sensor to capture close-up shots.

    In comparison, the OnePlus 7T's triple-lens camera comprises a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP telephoto sensor, and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

    Winner: Mi Note 10.

  • Information

    For the selfie lovers

  • For all the selfie lovers, the OnePlus 7T offers a decent 16MP (f/2.0) camera whereas Xiaomi's premium mid-ranger gets an impressive 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper. Winner: Mi Note 10.

    Under the hood
  • The OnePlus 7T comes with the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of ultra-fast UFS 3.0 storage. There is also a graphite heat sync pipe for improved thermal management.

In this department, the Mi Note 10 trails with an upper-midrange Snapdragon 730G processor, 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

Winner: OnePlus 7T for its flagship-grade internals.

  • Nitty-gritty

    Battery to Biometrics

  • Under the hood, OnePlus 7T packs a 3,800mAh battery with improved WARP Charge 30T fast-charging technology, an improved vibration motor, and Dolby Atmos-powered stereo speakers. It also has one of the fastest in-screen fingerprint scanners.

In comparison, the Mi Note 10 packs a massive 5,260mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. It also features an in-screen fingerprint reader.

    Winner: You be the judge.

    Pricing

  • In India, the OnePlus 7T costs Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant. The Mi Note 10 is currently not available in India but it is priced at 549 euros (roughly Rs. 43,200) for the single 6GB/128GB configuration.

  • Our verdict

    How things stack up?

    How things stack up?
  • Both the Mi Note 10 and OnePlus 7T are pretty powerful. However, one does some things better than the other and that makes choosing between the two much easy.

If you are into mobile photography, Mi Note 10 should help you take your game to the next level. But if you want an all-rounder, look no further than the OnePlus 7T.
