In a bid to boost sales, OPPO has slashed the prices of the top-end variant of OPPO A5s.
With this price reduction, the 4GB/64GB model is now up for grabs at Rs. 11,990 via offline sale channels.
The key highlights of the handset include its waterdrop notched design, HD+ display, 4,230mAh battery, and mid-level internals.

First, a look at the new prices
According to a report, the OPPO A5s' 4GB/64GB variant is now retailing at Rs. 11,990 (Launch price: Rs. 12,990) in offline markets. However, the price reduction has not reflected on online sale channels like Amazon and Flipkart.
Further, the 3GB/32GB model is priced at Rs. 9,990 and a 2GB/32GB variant is retailing at Rs. 8,990.

Up front, the OPPO A5s comes with a waterdrop notched design with a slim bottom bezel. On the back, the glossy panel houses dual cameras and a physical fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone gets a 6.2-inch LCD display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
On the imaging front, the OPPO A5s gets a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
The main camera offers features such as bokeh effect, panorama, HDR, and is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
Up front, the handset sports an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The OPPO A5s is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core chipset, paired with upto 4GB of RAM and upto 64GB of expandable storage.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on Android Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 and packs a 4,230mAh battery.
Lastly, the handset gets all standard sensor and connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-FI, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
