It would sport 20MP dual selfie cameras on the front and another 20MP camera with LED flash on the back as well. It would house a fingerprint sensor on the rear for unlocking.
The high-end OPPO F5 6GB RAM version and the standard edition have no major differences except in the RAM, internal storage, and color options. The premium version has 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. It is said to be available in Black and Red color options.
As the name suggests, OPPO aims to target the youth with this affordable smartphone in the F5 series. Unlike its siblings, this variant would have a single 16MP selfie shooter. It may house a 16MP rear camera. It would have downgraded RAM and onboard storage.
All three variants of the OPPO F5 would come preloaded with Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered features that would enhance the selfies. The entire series would have a rear fingerprint scanner and also a software-based facial unlocking system. The devices are expected to be priced around Rs. 25,000-30,000 in India. However, it is not yet confirmed whether all three variants will be launched in India.
The OPPO F5 series smartphones are rumored to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. If OPPO has really integrated this processor, then the F5 series devices would be the first Snapdragon 660 phones in India.
