Revolut admits data breach after scammers sent fake government emails

Revolut, the fintech giant, has admitted to a data breach where scammers tricked it with fake emails posing as a government agency.
As a result, some customers had their personal details, like birth dates, addresses, phone numbers, and ID documents, exposed to an unauthorized third party.
Revolut notified affected users
Revolut says only a limited number of users were affected, and it has already notified those impacted.
The company quickly blocked the email address and alerted authorities. It has reassured everyone that its systems and money are safe.
Interestingly, this all comes as Revolut is expanding globally and gearing up for big moves in the US banking scene.
