    Ahead of launch, Samsung Galaxy A12's full specifications leaked

    Samsung is all set to introduce the Galaxy A12 model in India soon. In the latest development, tipster Abhishek Yadav has leaked the key specifications of the variant that will be launched here. As per the tip-off, the India-specific A12 will offer an HD+ screen, a quad rear camera unit, a 5,000mAh battery, and up to 128GB of storage. Here's our roundup.

    Samsung Galaxy A12: At a glance

    The Galaxy A12 will come with a waterdrop notch display with a thick bottom bezel, a plastic body, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will house a quad camera unit. The smartphone will bear a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) TFT LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is expected to be offered in Blue, Black, White and Red colors.

    For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

    The Galaxy A12 will feature a quad rear camera module comprising a 48MP (f/2.0) primary sensor, a 5MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro shooter, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, it will house an 8MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper.

    Under the hood

    The Galaxy A12 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It will run on Android 11-based One UI 3.0 and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. The handset will offer support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.

    Pricing and availability

    The official pricing details of the Galaxy A12 in India will be announced at the time of the launch. However, as per Yadav, the handset could be priced at around Rs. 13,000.
