Samsung has finally launched its new F-series smartphone, the Galaxy F23 5G, on Tuesday. It starts at Rs. 17,499 for the 4GB/128GB model and will be up for grabs from March 16 via Flipkart and Samsung's official website. As an introductory offer, the phone is currently available with a discount of Rs. 2,500, which brings down the effective starting price to Rs. 14,999.
- The Galaxy F23 5G is the latest addition to Samsung's portfolio of affordable feature-packed handsets in India. In India's already crowded budget segment, it's quite difficult for any phone to stand out.
- However, the F23 arrives with certain premium features such as support for 12 5G bands, a 120Hz display, and a Snapdragon 750G chip, which are expected to make it an instant crowd-puller.
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G features a waterdrop notch design with a noticeable bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it sports a rectangular camera unit. The handset bears a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is offered in Aqua Blue and Forest Green color options.
The Galaxy F23 5G is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro senor. Up front, it sports a 13MP selfie snapper.
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 750G SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it boots Android 12-based One UI 4.1 and houses a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the handset offers support for 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a Type-C port.
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G is priced at Rs. Rs. 17,499 for the 4GB/128GB model and Rs. 18,499 for the 6GB/128GB variant. However, they are available for an introductory price of Rs. 14,999 and 15,999, respectively. The sale will begin on March 16.
