Samsung Galaxy M33 5G teased in India; Amazon availability confirmed
Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy M33 5G smartphone in India. The company has now started teasing the phone through Amazon, indicating an imminent arrival. Although the teaser doesn't reveal much except for "The all-new Galaxy M, Coming soon," its source code has confirmed that the phone in question is M33 5G. To recall, it was introduced globally earlier this month.
- With the addition of the Galaxy M33 5G, Samsung will be hoping to add more firepower to its mid-range arsenal in India. The success of the phone, however, will be determined by its pricing, considering the number of 5G phones that have flooded the market.

The Galaxy M33 5G features a waterdrop notch design, a prominent bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it has a square-like camera unit. The smartphone bears a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) TFT display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is offered in Green, Blue, and Brown color options.
The Galaxy M33 5G is equipped with a quad rear camera setup, including a 50MP (f/1.8) main shooter, a 5MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP (f/2.2) macro sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.2) depth snapper. Up front, it sports an 8MP (f/2.2) selfie camera.
The Galaxy M33 5G is powered by an unspecified octa-core 2.4GHz chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it boots Android 12-based One UI 4.1 and houses a 6,000mAh battery with fast-charging support. For connectivity, the handset offers support for 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a Type-C port.
The official pricing and availability details of the Galaxy M33 5G in India will be announced at the time of its launch in the coming days. For reference, in Germany, it is priced at €349 (roughly Rs. 29,200) for the 6GB/128GB model.
